After over 25 years providing hard-working customers around New Zealand with high-quality men’s and women's workwear and PPE as Westland Workgear, we are excited to announce that we are rebranding ourselves as Westpeak™ New Zealand. As of 17/11/2021, we are officially adopting our new brand and logo across all platforms. In this blog, we explain the reason behind the change and what it means for our customers.

 

Why the Change? 

We have grown steadily as a business since first opening our doors in 1994, when our founder Lewis Simpkin began supplying work clothing and PPE to farmers and local businesses on the West Coast of New Zealand. In the years that followed, we started supplying businesses in the Nelson and Marlborough areas, with a strong focus on the booming mining industry.

In the last few years, we have experienced significant growth and reached a broader national market. With the introduction of our innovative Workpack Express UMS system and Westpeak™ Go app, which allow employees to order their own work clothes and PPE while putting ultimate control over stock and uniform management in the hands of employers, we became leaders in total uniform solutions for NZ. With these systems taking on a central role in what we provide to our customers, we have chosen to take Westpeak™ as our official business name.

As we continue to expand and reach new customers, we decided it was time for a subtle update of our brand, something with a more contemporary look and feel that encapsulates our core values as well as our vision for the future. We have always placed the utmost importance on bringing our customers the best, most reliable workwear and PPE available anywhere on the market. Our new brand emphasises our place as the pinnacle in uniform solutions for the NZ market.

What Does This Mean for Our Customers? 

Our existing customers will be pleased to know that this rebrand has little practical impact on the services and products we offer. There is no change to our core staff; the people behind the brand will remain the same and we will continue to deliver the same top-tier products with the same unwavering commitment to customer service. For all intents and purposes, the name and logo will be the only real difference for the end customer. We will roll out our existing stock over the coming months and all new products produced after 17/11/2021 will feature the new Westpeak™ name and logo.
